Francis Ouimet Caddie Scholarship Program

Since he won the 1913 U.S. Open at The Country Club, Francis Ouimet’s name has been embedded in golf history. In the spirit of paying it forward, the friends of Francis Ouimet and the Massachusetts Golf Association created the Francis Ouimet Caddie Scholarship in 1949 to help deserving young men and women, who worked at golf courses in Massachusetts, obtain a college education.
